Edmonton North LRT Project:
Skelton has been awarded the contract to supply materials for their Kingsway crossing rebuild. This award comprises the supply of the extra special; track guardrail, mounting brackets, rubber membranes, in-street ties, rubber rail boot, flange filler and Icosit elastomeric load bearing grout.

We have also completed the supply and assistance for the installation of the Moklansarail lubrication system in Edmonton. It is a green system and was mounted on a track inside a tunnel ahead of the curve. It was built to withstand minus FORTY degree temperatures!

The suppression of rail squeal was the first criteria due to the incessant complaints from residents. It also reduces rail and wheel wear. If local residents threaten court action because of intolerable track noises, please contact us.
